Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained some fame. Calvano is a native of California, was originally interested in competitive gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actress. In 2010 she was first seen on screen in a scene from the CBS show 'NCIS.' The big screen debut came a year later with the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. Through the seasons, she was able to establish herself as one of the most prestigious performers of the day. She was awarded an award nomination in the Young Artist Award, Best Performance of an Actor in the Younger Years of Actress in a Television Series due to her performance in "NCIS". The year 2013 saw Calvano nominated once again for an award called a Young Artist Award. This time, for her appearance on Disney XD's 'Kickin It'. Calvano played a role in a handful in the episodes "Mom" in its Fourth Season. She was a main character in the first three seasons of the series. In 2015, her performance in the show "Mom" brought her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
